Since the songs are written in “Roman Sam’skrta”, the cataloging was also made on that basis.
The pronunciation of words in the songs, unlike in prose, are several times extended or lengthened. The specific lengths (beats or ma’tra’s) have been specified by providing dashes (-------).
Vowel extensions (A’LA’PS), sung as per tunes prescribed, mostly followed by earlier lines or stanzas, were also specified by dashes (A’--------A’).
If a word, line or stanza is repeated several times, the text must be specific about that. This has been done by rewriting them or mentioning numerals such as 2, 3 etc.
Wherever a question mark (?) is made, some clarification/authentication is sought, after which the mark may be erased.
Provision for introducing/indicating the composition or the melody (musical gamut of notes, tones or pitch and the beats or rhythm) along with the words is being elaborated.
Translations of theme vary depending on language and person and are always subject to modifications. But provision for a simple English translation is to be made side by side.
For correct pronunciation, a pronunciation guide with numerous examples was introduced and is being improved in self-sufficient Roman Sam’skrta, which is not English or phonetic script. But minor variations like accent (e.g. A’) and underlining (e.g. jiina) have been adopted due to non-availability of symbols.
